Private charter itineraries
A private charter booking can be curated in many ways. The bookings tend to be:
Full-Day Charters ~8 hours
The perfect option for those with limited time. Covers Praslin and La Digue, with snorkelling stops, or south to the marine national parks around Curieuse and St. Pierre. Visit the giant tortoise sanctuary on Curieuse for a closer look. Return along the eastern shore.
Sunset Charters ~2 hours
Typically available as an extension to a full-day charter, the sunset charter is the perfect greeting to the twilight that marks the end of a magnificent day in paradise.
Multi-Day Charters 3+ days
Not every Seychelles charter fits into an afternoon. The longer trips—three, five, seven, even fourteen or more days—are where the archipelago really opens up. The inner islands sit close enough for relaxed passages, yet each anchorage feels distinct. Mahé gives you provisioning and marina services. Praslin gives you the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO site and home to the coco de mer palm. La Digue gives you bicycle‑friendly lanes and Anse Source d’Argent. And the smaller islands—Curieuse, Cousin, Silhouette, Félicité—give you wildlife, hiking and snorkelling in a compact radius. That concentration of variety is what makes Seychelles stand out.
We arrange both crewed and bareboat multi‑day charters through the same vetted set of operators we use for day trips. All boats are SMSA‑licensed.
Crewed Charters
You show up, we handle the rest. A crewed multi‑day charter means the boat comes with a captain, a deckhand, and—on the premium end—a hostess or chef. You don’t touch the lines. You don’t provision. You don’t navigate. You decide the general route and the pace, and the crew makes it work around the wind, the tide and the marine park regulations. The skippers have been working these waters long enough to know which side of Mahé the wind sits on in the south‑east trades.
Typical guest profiles for crewed charters: honeymooners, milestone celebrations, families who want to relax without any logistics, corporate groups entertaining clients, and anyone who wants the boat for the experience rather than the headcount.
Bareboat Charters
You skipper, we provide the boat. A bareboat multi‑day charter means you get the boat, the safety gear, a thorough briefing, and a chart plotter—and you do the rest. You skipper. You navigate. You cook. You anchor. You handle the lines. It’s a sailing holiday, not a floating hotel.
Who bareboat charters work for: experienced skippers with at least 20 days or 400 miles under their belt as a skipper. The Inner Islands are manageable for competent sailors: short passages, line‑of‑sight navigation, protected anchorages. But you still need to read the weather, handle the boat, and know what you’re doing in a marine park.
The premium-tier luxury fleet
The premium‑tier booking through Chartercraft means more than a premium boat. It means a hostess on board in addition to skipper and deckhand, a pre‑charter call to walk through the route, catering, music and any décor, champagne on arrival, and one charter manager who owns the file from enquiry through disembarkation. The luxury tier includes Spirit of Ponant, Eye Candy, Akula, Oceanic and more.
Why book your Seychelles yacht charter through us
Chartercraft is an independent booking agency. We don’t own the boats, and we don’t crew them. That’s the point. When you ask for a week‑long charter for eight guests in July, we don’t try to sell you the one we own. We pick the right vessel from the fleet—crewed or bareboat—based on your experience level, your group size, your budget, and what you actually want to do on the water.
- Pricing in Euros, no hidden fees
- Annual operator inspection on every listed vessel (SMSA‑compliant)
- One booking manager per charter, start to finish
- Bank transfer or encrypted card payment
- Skippers with five‑plus years on these waters – they know the tide, the trade winds and the best anchorages.
Departure
Eden Island Marina, Mahé (with occasional departures from Port Victoria). GPS -4.6340, 55.4780. Specific berth confirmed in your reservation email. Secure parking at Eden Island (with transfer options available).
